recently on facebook i haven't received any notifications at all, is there a reason for this and is there a way to fix it .

Facebook has done away with notifications as there have been articles and forums of debate about this elimination process. Didn't you get the memo?

That is a glitch on Facebook. Facebook is already aware of this problem and will fix it. If you have time, clean up your browser and try again. You should also try different browser/computer. If those methods don't work, then contact Facebook about that problem, so Facebook will fix it for you.
