please i want to sell items on craigs list but do not have money to pay for ad

Craigslist doesn't charge you money for posting an advertisement on their site so you don't have to worry about it. If you're looking for other sites to post on as well try Ebay and Amazon neither of which charge you as long as your item is under a certain cost (which is relatively high) and as long as you haven't posted over 25 ads with them.
If it's an item that falls under a Fashion category such as clothing,jewelry and makeup try Poshmark. They take a percentage of the money your item sells for but they don't charge you that unless your item sells and you can always increase the cost of the item so you still get what you originally wanted out of it.

2) Building quality links to rank well in search engines so people can find you.
3) Post link to social media sites.

I think you can use Google local listing for local business.
