Is it legal to put homemade videos of video games on websites such as facebook or youtube? - Mintyrebel - 03-30-2014 09:00 PM

Is it legal to put a video you have made of a video game showing gameplay on youtube or facebook or is it copy right?

Its totally legal, but make sure you label it correctly and indicate it is only footage from a video game. Most of the record sniper shots real action or lite barret 50 head taken clean off videos are all from call of duty 4, they get abuse for taking the piss. Just make sure you say it is from a video game.

yep it is legal. but then can be used by the viewer without cost to them or money for you. they can not use for commercial purposes but can use for what is considered personal use. gameplay is copywritten which means it is owned exclusively by the publisher. and can be iffy. but for the most part just a video probably would be considered free advertising for the product. and since advertisers pay really big bucks for advertisements why would you do it free?
