There is a lot of Facebook pages that are very successful like Satan (http://www.facebook.com/CarlSaganWasHere). They all post similar content like funny photos, and none of them do much work to get noticed. Also, it is clear that that community pages aren't that important.
How exactly to these pages get so many likes?

The people who make it up have a lot of friends, maybe thousands. They suggest it to their friends. That way, they can have thousands of likes.

If you have a Facebook page, you can go to setting and 'act like page.'
When you do that, your posting as your page, commenting, liking etc.
they go on popular pages and comment, 'Like Our Page!'
