Has anyone considered Social Security? - Paul - 03-31-2014 10:18 PM

If the Republicans (McCain supported) would have had their way it would have been hinged on the stock market. Hmmmm…. what would be happening to your contributions now? How much would the American people be out? Is this the type of decision making you want running our country?
Paige: Are you that out of touch, you contribute to SSI! It would have been your money they squandered!

Susi: This is not threory, this is a fast. They tried to push this through a couple times!

Yes that's why I am voting Obama/Biden 08 protection for your future

- Paige - 03-31-2014 10:33 PM

Free money is never free.

all you have is theory and opinion here! It is impossible to answer a theoretical supposition!!!!!

I wouldn't hitch my wagon to any institution that favors the wealthy- and it does. Many lucrative options are not available to the average investor- i.e. one share of Birkshire Hathaway.

No this is myth..it would not have effected anyone born before

1950 and then it would be a volunteer for after 1950

Something we should all consider..Volunteer in the future to

invest as we see fit..?

but nobody is losing their Social Security as Barack Obama

falsely said in Florida to scare the senior citizens

His quotes are public record..but he tried to scare the seniors

but it back fired on him badly..now the Seniors (20% of the Voters

are over 65 and 50% of the voters are over 50() so the senior say

NO to BHO

McCain talks out of both sides of his mouth on this one. He wants to privatize retirement by having people put their money in the stock market instead of rely on social security yet he receives the benefits.

3% of SS would be effected. The stock market is down right now but isn't likely to stay there. The best thing to do is let it ride. if you were to bet on the stock market fixed or not would you bet it would always stay down? Would you bet there isn't going to be one. How much of an expert on the stock market are you. How would SS really fare if it were on the stock market? What would you advise people to buy right now? Who is lying about investing a portion of SS in the stock market?

McCain paid into SS he is entitled to receive benefits.
