I use to date a man that claimed to have been single for 2 years before we met... we dated briefly but not very long... anyway he updated his status on Facebook and i noticed that a woman commented on his status who had the same last name as his... so being nosey, i clicked on her profile and to my surprise i saw many pics of them together and i saw that they were even married ! the reason i never noticed her profile before is because they had recently became Facebook friends after they got married... apparently they have been together for several years... but he has NO indication of even being in a relationship on his page.. all pics of just himself... i even saw a pic on his page were he appeared to have blocked someone out the pic, but when i went on his wife's page, i saw the same pic with her in it !!!! Why would a man hide a whole relationship from everyone

The obvious answer is so he can meet other women and keep his marriage out of the discussion.

At first I thought maybe he just always had his relationship status not displayed, but when you said that he blocked her out of the photo, and has no other photos of them, that shows intention of him trying to hide his marriage. The thing is, if his wife is friends with him, she is able to see that photo, unless he specifically blocked her from that photo, which perhaps he did if he is being really sneaky. But then, why even have the photo on your page? Not a lot of this makes sense but it's certainly suspicious. Maybe they do have an open marriage.... or he wants one.

You don't understand privacy at all do you?
NOBODY is ever obligated to put their life on display.. Just because you utilize social media doesn't mean you have to make your life an open book..

Some people prefer to keep their personal life private and like to maintain their identity and independence to an extent. It is also possible that his heart really isn't in the marriage. I think you should ask him and don,t attack him or accuse him... but ask him to be honest and upfront and tell him you aren't the judgemental type and he will likely tell you the truth whether it's good or bad.

Because he wants to have extra-marital affairs in abundance without owning up to his marriage. He just wants sex.
