Social Media and Dating? - Chad - 04-02-2014 12:25 AM

Just looking at getting peoples opinions on social media and dating. With our technology becoming so much a part of our lives, would you think it is ok to get to know someone through a social media site and then ask for a date? Here's my situation. I know a person that I would like to ask out for a date, however the only time I have a chance to see her is at her place of employment. Since I have that respect of not asking her there, I don't have another way of getting to know her. Would it be ok to get to know her through a social media site and then ask for that date?

Social network sites are okay to meet one. However, they do have their own problems. One of those problems is that you cannot really tell who that person might be. The person you meet online can say that they are 18 year old girl, but in reality is a obese 40 year old man. Not only that, but many people can access that information and can sometimes use it against you. So overall, social networking has its pros and cons. If you want to talk to this girl more, then you can always talking via the phone, email, or talking more at work.
