is it true that people can follow you on twitter w/out being seen? i got an email saying one of my exes was following me but it didnt show up. then the twitter got deleted. I tried getting a new email but it got hacked. What can I do about this

Set up your Twitter to where you have to "approve" followers. If he can get around that...then he's a genius.
