How can a blocked user on Facebook still read my posts? - Kara - 04-02-2014 10:09 PM

I've blocked a number of people, including my parents. My mom has printed out one of my Facebook statuses and asked me about it and she has confronted me with others as well. She says she can still see my posts, and my sister told me up front she doesn't show her... how is this possible?

She is probably using another account. Thats the only way a blocked user can see your posts (or profile at all) Either she has a fake account (which some parents do to spy on kids) or she knows you or your sisters PW and checked from there.

You may have blocked her, but did you de-friend her?

either she has an insider mutual friend

or

your statuses are set to public and she views your profile logged out. a status or photo on facebook - if the privacy settings are set to public, anyone you have blocked, if they have the url to your profile, they can see it by simply loading your profile logged out
