Or so it seems. On Instagram, I see a lot of women who take selfies a lot more than men seem to do. Why is that?

Women tend to like themselves more than men do and feel the need to take a lot of pictures of themselves.

Women fish for compliments far more often than men do. It helps to stave off their perpetual insecurity.

not that surprising even artists made more representations of women than they did men
women display more skin than men
take more photos generally
notice how little interest male selfies get, compared to females
it's similar to flashing which female do more than males
male selfies get female interest, female selfies get male and female interest
