Can you get in trouble for harassing/threatening on facebook? - muff diver - 04-04-2014 03:02 AM

Somebody is constantly harassing and bullying me on facebook. I was wondering what options do I have on dealing with it? The person didn't say they were going to physically hurt me or anything they are just making fun of me and what not.

you can report them to facebook and if they agree that it is harassment they will remove the content. If it continues they will shut down their facebook account and they will not be able to access it anymore.

It's called cyber bullying and there's not much you can do to get her in trouble for it. Since she has not threatened to physically harm you there's not really anything to do besides block her on Facebook. I hope this helped.

Cyberbullying comes under bullying, and is a criminal offense. You can try going to the police if you really want to deal with it.
