I have the Facebook app on my iPod, but even when I log out I still get notifications as if I'm still logged out
How can I fix this?

Go to Settings> Notifications and find the Facebook App. You should be able to set the notification type on there.
Failing that, Go onto Facebook settings and change the type onthere.
