How many watts in a power suppy do I need for this video card? - deemoni - 04-05-2014 12:03 AM

This is my desktop setup so far:

I was wondering how many watts do I need for a power supply (that is, if I need to upgrade my current) for this GeForce 660 GTX video card:
http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4501133&CatId=7387&SRCCODE=TIGFBK2&cm_mmc_o=lgkCjCd-2HPRRsCjCkbLwCjCuzgw_BBLfyzuub&fb_action_ids=176541489153653&fb_action_types=og.likes&fb_source=timeline_og&action_object_map=%7B%22176541489153653%22%3A143618805781997%7D&action_type_map=%7B%22176541489153653%22%3A%22og.likes%22%7D&action_ref_map=%5B%5D

A side note: Can somebody give me feedback for this video card, is it good? or is there anything better for the price? My limit is 300 dollars and under.

Well, the PSU of the PC you provided a link for says it is 500Ws. The card you provided a link to states a minimum of a 450W PSU is required. Personally, I would upgrade to a 600W PSU to be on the safe side as PSUs that come with a case generally are less efficient and do not provide the the wattage that they advertise which will cause stability issues.
