Hi,
Okay, I don't have any "Close Friends" on Facebook.
But I am receiving Notifications every time my Mother-In-Law is somewhere.....Starbucks, Sainsburys etc.
Why is this!? Has she put me down as a "Close Friend" and I just can't see it? I'm not sure. I don't want her receiving notifications of where I am all the time, and vise versa.
Whats happening?

Because u r accidentally subscribed to her. If you click on her wall and click friend ..u will be given an option to change it. Good luck

You may have "subscribed" to her feed. I've accidentally done that a few times. It updates you about her because it thinks you have deemed her important enough to "follow." If that's the case, unsubscribe.
Another reason (and this is just a theory) is that maybe she looks at your facebook a lot or you've looked at hers a lot. Facebook can creepily tell those things. They have a lot of information about you whether or not there is a lot on your profile. I read somewhere that facebook can tell the probability of your relationship succeeding based on your and your significant other's interactions.
In any case, you can always change your privacy settings to exclude specific people from seeing specific things such as your whereabouts and updates. You can find the tools for that in your privacy settings.

ok go to your account and click on friends then look on the list till you find who you looking for and then click on there name and and then you would see get notifications and if there is a check beside it rhen thats why
