I have the motorola droid and on the facebook app, it only shows a few statues and when i click load more the date on statues are "dec 31" and it won't load. what is the problem/how do i fix it?

I'm not very fond of the default facebook app. I've found that using "Bloo" from the market is a much better experience.
The only thing it can't do is notify you when you've been poked, if that's important to you.
