no the only reason they need the email is so that they can send the conformation email and send you messages when you get messages.

Get a Facebook account....it's cool. But you should really join the NEW Hottest social networking site out there. It's FREE!
But, unlike Facebook or Myspace, it actually pays you $4.00 every time you tell a friend about it and they join. It gets better than that!
