can you get notifications sent to your phone? like text message or something or email if the account isnt yours but someones changed it so that notifications go to their phone or email?
and if so, where is it in account settings? and how can it be changed?

Check your notification settings. Click Edit next to the notification types you want to receive and make sure the appropriate boxes are checked.
Here's the Procedure.
-Log in to Facebook.
-Click the Account menu at the top right of the page and choose Account Settings.
-At the bar on the top of the Account Settings page, click Notifications.
-You'll now see a large page of notifications with two checkboxes beside them. The checkbox on the left is for email and the checkbox on the right is for text messages. Checking a box means you'll get a notification and unchecking a box means you won't. Simply choose the options you want.
-When you're done making your choices, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the button labeled Save Changes.
-That's it. You're all done! As an alternative, if you'd like to receive all your notifications as a daily email digest
