Ebay Problem, please help!? - Kevin - 04-08-2014 04:06 AM

okay, so I am fairly new to Ebay and selling some small things. On one of my auctions the buyer wanted me to ship to Spain. The item's page specifically said that I only ship the the United States.

The buyer has not completed the checkout, (the symbol is a circle that is 4/5 filled?) He asked for an invoice with the cost of shipping and I emailed back telling him I don't ship internationally.

What should I do!?

re auction it and specify correctly, delivery only in US

You 'contact buyer' and tell him you only ship to USA or find out the costs for Spain and charge him double.

Yep, it is up to you. If you did specifically list that you do not ship internationally, even if he files a claim, you would win (if he pays you, give back the money right away).

Or, if you want to, you can ship to Spain. You'd need to charge him the true cost of that then (find out beforehand...don't guess).

You have two choices
1. State you only ship to the US so are unable to complete any transaction, as stated in the listing when you bought
OR
2. Find out the postage costs for shipping to Spain and charge them the true or more postage of what it will cost. Say you'll make a exception this time to ship but don't get out of pocket on postage by not charging enough!
Either way its up to you as your within your right and if the buyer did file a case against you then ebay should intervene and state to the buy it was not for international shipping
