eBay warranty seller said it has warranty? - Jordy - 04-08-2014 04:07 AM

I bought a back up camera for my car back in August.Last week it broke water went in it on the listing the seller said that it comes with 2 years of warranty I message him but he has been ignoring me what can I do does he have to help me since he said that it comes with warranty?

I'd just chalk it up as a lost. Hiring a laywer can get too expensive, and filling a complaint and following up with people would take a long time.

Hi Jordy
Go thru ebay and open a case for it or you could see if its under manufacture warranty. The problem i see is that water got in it and i don't see it being covered under the warranty unless you purchased an warranty for accidental damages. I hope this help's and Good Luck.

So far I know you cant claim it now as Ebay does not accept disputes after 2 months. On the other hand you have damaged it yourself by entering water. I would suggest you to know it first if the camera was listed as water proof and then try to contact the seller.
