So i refresh my facebook page and see this girl poked me 2hours before i refreshed it. I poke her back but when i go back to my notifications, her poke disappears. Help?

You poked her back, so you already saw her poke, therefore they assume that once you've seen it you don't need to be notified again. If she pokes you another time, you get a new notification.
