I suppose it sounds sort of like a desperate question, but I am just starting out on a Wordpress blog, and I would love if I could get more followers. I mostly post reviews of movies and books, but I may also post my own writing and random other stuff. I've been branching out to other blogs also, and commenting, but I was wondering what else I could do to get more followers. Currently my only followers are real life friends who I have to remind to go read.

You should post some of your movie reviews on Movie-Blogger.com It is a movie review community full movie-blogger like yourself. It is a great way to get your blog out there, promote your own work, and most importantly build an audience for your site. Good luck
