Wait til the end of the auction. All the bidding usually happens within the last minute (or even 30 seconds). And then bid higher than the highest bid
. If you REALLY want to win...then put in the highest bid you are willing to pay and it will automatically increase your bid whenever someone bids lower than you.

Bid in the last 3 seconds, increase the bid to what you think is a good offer.
You will most likely win this way.
This is called snipping.
Or you could ask the seller if he will straight up sell it to you
