I can access my e-mail, but when checking the box to open it up it either freezes up or temporarily loses it's connection. A message comes up saying searching for interruption which cancel and then it comes back to normal again. This has been going on for awhile.

Yahoo e-mail? It has had problems for a while. Also, I now have Window's 8.1 and it has caused some problems.

Did you try to find any viruses on the computer, that could help.
