All ive done on facebook for months is facebook stalk people who wont add me. And facebook stalk an old crush who abandoned his facebook and will never update it. Its depressing. But when I dont check there profile I feel like I have to or they will disappear.

Did you know before facebook, people would actually make friends by TALKING to other people in person?
People also dated before facebook was invented.

Yes, this is very unhealthy behavior and deactivating your account would be the right thing to do.
