i'm writting a post that i don't want to spam peoples dashes with, I've seen other people do it. They some how put a link in a text post which then takes you to the text post on their blog so you can read it. I did know how to do this but i've forgotten

Use the "read more" link Between the "upload image" and the "bulleted list"
Then the amount that you want seen goes to the dash, but they will have to click the title or bent tab to read the rest.
