When it says tweeting from the web does this mean they are at home lying about what there doing. For an example say someone says im at the club on twitter and I check and it says tweeting from the web.

Yes that ALWAYS means from a home (or work) computer. NOT from a phone.

Yes, if it says Via web, then it's a main source like a computer, or even iPad. It can get as descriptive as Black Berry to Twitdeck on your iPhone. Unless there are computers at a random club lol they're probably lying.
