I got caught by some kind of spam scam. Now my facebook friends are getting spam from me that read like:
"John Doe to Jane Doe: http://twi.cc/hhCf Is by far the coolest application out there. It lets you know who is visiting your profile and how many times they have. I love it!
... is there anyway to get rid of this?

Its an application in your apps on facebook, Somewhere you have accepted for an app to have access to your profile. You need to watch what you click yes to on facebook sometimes. Try clicking on apps button bottom left and looking for the app. that is in the message being sent to your friends, and after deleting it, it should solve the problem.
