Google has a great SEO beginners guide. The link is below. Google analytics shows statistics about visitors etc to your website. These are 2 very different things. Check out the link to the guide. Good luck.

If you are a search enthusiastic then you are good to go in online marketing, SEO is all about getting better position in search engine, where as analytics is all about giving the idea of the website visitors
