I'll be honest. I was kind of expecting there to be a "because I was the victim of a...Blah Blah Blah..." part after your question.
But if you're just curious about weather or not I've ever been scammed online, the answer is yes. I once accidentally wired money to my mom, who was on vacation, and it turned out that she never even asked me for money and the money I wired didn't go to her account. Luckily for me, it was only about $120. Which is enough to be really annoying, but it's not like I lost all my life savings to one of those "Swahili princes that can't seem to come up with the cash to buy a plane ticket" scams.
