Did any of you get married and didn't post the photos on Facebook? - Drivenbydesire - 04-08-2014 04:27 AM

I had to have a facebook account for my job ( I'm a tech editor) but I only use it to post articles and photos of cupcakes I bake. I hate how narcissistic people get on the site and expose their private life. I got engaged last year to the love of my life and my colleagues tease me cause I didn't mention it on Facebook. My husband and I plan to elope ( we both come from wealthy toxic families who are money hungry and very selfish). Anywho, we live our life, happily, keep to ourselves, enjoy life with our small but amazing group of friends. My coworkers keep calling me weirh cause I have no desire to post anything about my personal life on Facebook. Is that so wrong?

I would suggest that you don't post. You are already happy with your wife, there is no need to share your life with everyone. Your close friends and family are the only ones you should care about.

Not at all. I don't even have a Facebook account. I believe in keeping my life private. I share photos and details with only certain people. Those I feel that I can trust.
