I believe i have won some duels but i haven't gotten any house points, why?

You get 5 points for every duel you win. They don't send you a notification when you win or anything though; you have to go back to the Dueling page and check the match's outcome in the left-hand column. Could you possibly be dueling your own house? Because you only get points for defeating the other houses. Otherwise, it could be a glitch. For example, with the new dueling system (as of July 2013), my account is so buggy with dueling that I can't do it anymore. It will score all of my attempts at zero, then declare the match a tie and give my opponent the points anyway. It's weird.
