On her iPad. Can I open another account for myself using the same email address on a different iPad?
@Abraxus you seem to be saying my wife and I cannot have separate Facebook accounts, even with different email addresses. Is this correct?

No you'll have to create a new email or add your name to the facebook account and you can share the same account.

additionally, you will want to understand that it is against the rules to create more than one facebook account, even if you use a different email address
facebook will be able to detect you doing it and they will suspend your account and force you to verify yourself by you sending them a copy of your government issued ID which you will only be able to use with one account

No, I'm almost positive that an email address can only be used for one account, no matter if its on a different device.

You'll just need to create a different email address with your email provider. That way there will be two email addresses being used for two separate facebook accounts. Facebook will know that there are two people at the same address using two separate accounts. My sister in law and her two daughters had three separate facebook accounts from the same home/email address with no problems at all.

No You Can Not Only 1 Account Can Be Associated With 1 Email Address if you Want to Make a Facebook Account you Have to Start it Under a Different Email Address Does Not Matter What Device you Use to Make it

No, if you open a facebook account you need to use a different email address from your wife regardless of the device you're using. Only one account can be associated with one email address.
