Why would a married woman have Myspace or Facebook pages? - Versie - 10-15-2012 08:27 PM

A friend is married six months ago. They have a baby together. She recently started an account with a popular social network. In her survey/profile, she lists her type as slim and 5'10. In parenthesis, she adds that her husband is 5'7. ? I'm wondering if this is a subconscious way of letting potential suitors know that she is looking. ?
Why else mention her husband's heighth?
Curious and secretly hoping that she is looking to dump her husband. He's a jerk.

My wife has a Facebook page. I have a Facebook page. Many married couples have Facebook pages. Not sure why you would think there is anything strange about it

Hahaha. I don't knw why but I will be keeping my facebook when I get married to keep in touch with family and friends. Maybe you should ask her? Like "Hey! Saw you on FB the other day! Just wanted you to know that you don't have to list your height on there! Facebook isn't really for that!" LOL.

But yeah, if he really is a jerk I hope she find a better life.

I can't think of any reason a woman would post her shorter husbands height in parenthesis unless she was advertising she wants someone taller. Woman do access social networking sites for reasons other than dating. I'll bet she's just trying to have something to distract herself from the bored as she takes care of the kid. (It can be very draining in every way) The height thing is very curious though. That alone is a potential red flag.

Happy Hunting Wink

On myspace and facebook, type is intended to describe one's self. Her type is 5' 10 and slim, meaning she is 5' 10 tall woman and she is slim.

it means she's taller than her husband, not on the prowl.
