Brighthouse false advertising? - Mark cyan - 04-08-2014 04:30 AM

okay, so im paying around 70/m (give or take) for speeds of 65mpbs download and 5-6mbps upload.
so pretty much i can download 8.5MB in 1 second. which is crazy good for my everyday use.
everytime i speed test, its amazing. BUT when i browse the web like youtube/facebook, it takes AGES to load the page. with 67mbps it should (literally) load the page in less than a second, especially face book, and i have no ads cause im using adblocker.

wtf do i tell them? they will simply check the connection and say, 'it looks good from here' ...
im tired of this BS.

I don't know how long "forever" is in your book, you can assume that there are bottlenecks on the server side of things not your download channel, there are sites that check the load time of a site, showing the load order of each resource that makes up a page, you could compare their load time results.

Here are a couple of site load time analysis tools

Here's another connection speed tester.
