I just wanted to get some information on making money with blogging. I am a writer and have been for quite some time now and i was just looking for some pointers on how to write successful blogs. Thank you

Most people who try to make money on the internet fail, perhaps because they have absolutely no qualifications but have bought into the easy money promises.
In most cases, thee majority of blog traffic comes from search engines, being one of the top blogs in your field, can get you onto page 1 of the search results where 90% of the traffic comes from.

Of course Adsense is the most popular passive revenue source, the high $100 min payout is hard for some sites to reach the tens of thousands of visitors needed to get paid.
Affiliate marketing has the potential for earning more particularly of you are writing about a subject people spend money on.

Hey,
first of all you will have to choose a topic that appeals to you because i too have tried creating dozens of sites on difference topics but i always failed and after that i decided to focus on something that i like so i started a blog on tv shows. However, i also recommend that you read How To Start A Blog Guide. it helped me a lot in setting up a blog.
Because if you want to make money online with blogging then first all you will need good content and lots of traffic and generating traffic is very tough these days. But the best monetizing options are google adsense and affiliate programs.
