my boss is trying to create a to search engine for his website. so when views go to his site they can search though out it. i am trying to find info for him or the code that he can copy and paste. any ideas

If he wants to have a search engine custom made, it can't be done in html, you will need java, php or some other underlying programming language. If he doesn't mind using google to provide the service, check the link in the first answer.
