I mean what should be an approach before and after starting a blog and increasing its web traffic.

I know the most important thing is patience and regular update.
But major things and problem that i could face for it to get started and running.

Study the page you are writing for. Get tips from the internet,focus on the line of thought - start writing keeping a basic title( Creativity does not help here) in mind. Tweak the title a little after forming an opinion on the content only if necessary. Feed in the keywords at appropriate places, without disturbing the flow of your writing. If it is increase in traffic is the main criteria, it is advisable to seek expert SEO advice first

When writing a blog you should be topic specific. Any article you write in your blog, see that the content is related to that topic

Your blog should be specific to the topic. It should be precise, informative and must have appropriate keywords at appropriate places. Make sure that the use of keyword in no way hampers the content flow.
