I have started receiving yahoo advertising in my ema. il in basket. I need to turn this off, it is totally irritating. I tried opting out and it did not work.

Yahoo only offers one option for turning off all advertising. It is a new "paid" email which costs $50 per year. All of the other email options have ads.

Use Google Chrome as your browser and download the "AdBlock" extension (it's free).
