why do people have soo many friends in facebook? - Alex - 04-08-2014 04:42 AM

like 200+, kmon people, i freakin know that you do not talk in person to all those people. Are people who have this many friends just loners going around adding strangers? Dont facebook itself say ''dont add strangers''?

No, most of those friends I have on Facebook are my colleagues and college friends.

I had 1400...it was mainly just kids in my surrounding area. I transferred schools too so at my first school everyone added everyone and at my second school everyone added everyone. Plus when people friended me, I'd accept anyone I have "mutual friends" with. People who have that many friends they definitely don't talk to all of them or might not even know all of them at all. Yes, a lot of people add strangers, loners or not. Also they might just want to seem "cool" by having a lot of friends by adding strangers. I don't know if facebook says that, but adding strangers is definitely not a good idea!
