Small business SEO is a branch of Search Engine Optimization, specifically aimed at small businesses. It focuses on key search terms in local markets, as opposed to search terms in general.
Small business SEO also requires an entirely different framework of service from SEO service providers. Many small businesses lack the large Information Technology resources as well a general understanding of what SEO really is, and its value to them. Service providers often try to package one-size-fits-all solutions for small businesses. Small businesses often require much more hands-on service and follow through, as they usually do not have the resources available for continuous SEO implementation.
