Hey so can someone help me with vk.
I made a Vk to because I am interested in Russian/ Ukrainian culture/ life and I wanted to talk to people who actually lived in Russia/ Ukraine (I live in the U.S.). But, I am a little confused.
First question: Can you message non friends? I messaged a lot of people, but the only ones who have answered are people who accepted my friend request.
Second question: On my message list, why do some messages have blue behind them and some have white?
Third Question: Does the person get a notification when they are invited as a friend?

1. If you use English probably they don't understand you, or just don't want to chat with strangers, or may think it's a spam. Also vk has privacy settings to not receive messages from non-friends.
2. Blue means a person you wrote hasn't read (opened) your message. White means it's marked as read.
