Snag a job is a scam. ? - Pretty - 04-08-2014 04:45 AM

I put in "applications" through there but on EVERY application they ask the same type of questions. Oh and they send an email from every job I put in saying that they seen my application. I dont understand

Snagajob itself is not a scam - it's just a listing site. But that doesn't mean that scammers don't post fake jobs on the site, like they do on Careerbuilder, Monster, Craigslist and pretty much any other site

Most legitimate employers will list the company name and will arrange a face to face interview with you. I would be wary of listings that don't list a company or that ask too many questions in an email. They should have the basic info from your application/resume and should be setting up an interview at their office, not trying to interview you through Yahoo IM, which I have never heard of any real employer using for candidates

its not a scam I've had several job interview from this site and gotten a job at TJ Maxx from this site

I would recommend the official federal job website:

http://www.MonsterJobFinder.com

Here you can find exactly what you are looking for and thats the only safe site.

Have Fun!

It's more of a waste of time than anything..about 80% of jobs on there listed are outdated or fake postings. So the best thing to do is go in person/call to ask about hirings.
