Just joined twitter, and i not only get the people im following through my news feed, but some of their friends. How do i get rid of their friends an just follow them?

Go to the profiles of the people that you don't want to follow and click unfollow. However, your friends might be retweeting some of what they see your friends do. If you don't even want to see those, go to your friends' profiles and select the option that blocks their retweets.

Go to twitter settings and click block so that the person wont be seeing you and you won't be seeing that person either.
