okay so i was wondering if when i "Like" a page on Facebook if it works the same way as if i add someone as a friend. Do they have access to my pictures and status updates if they wanted to go look at it? Also do my status updates and photos show up in their newsfeed? I was just curious about this.

Yes it does, the owner of the page has access to view your page. Now in your settings you can control who sees your statuses and pictures.
