I was on a social network a few years ago. It wasn't a popular social network but it was fun. You could create a profile, add interests like 'family', 'cooking', 'college', etc., and make friends based on shared interests. The highlight of the site was that you could ask and answer questions under certain interests. It was unique because the more you answered questions, the more you could earn a few cents per answer, but it was moreso because you wanted to share information. You would get a ranking also. You could also link blogs or websites. I'd very much so like to find this site again. I totally forgot the name of it.
