Whenever I go on the internet I get adverts pop up, sometime I click on something like a google link but a advert will pop up out of nowhere or load my page to something totally different to what I wanted I have used, google Chrome, comitbird, Firefox and Internet explorer but the same happens to all of them. It's a serious problem as I can get videos advert sometimes playing but there is no where for me to delete them. Meaning I have to mute my laptop. Any advice ?

Sounds like adware. Download and install http://www.malwarebytes.org

Use adblockers like "Adblock" and "Adblockplus" extensions in chrome or "Adblockplus" add-on in firefox and opera. You can avoid even youtube ads with those..!!!

If you are running Google Chrome, go check in Extensions tab if you have any extension you don't know. If you have anything you don't know, delete it. If ads keeps popping up, install AdBlock extension.
