I think we use to have Grande Communication's internet. I live in San Antonio, and I think it's only here in San Antonio where we have Grande.
we got AT&T's internet yesterday, since we got something in the mail I think, that said we could get it for a full year for free. But it's so slow! Things take longer to load, and I can't even watch South Park in peace, since it doesn't get to HD when I put full screen and it buffers a lot. It BARELY, if it even did, buffer before we got AT&T's internet. We have AT&T's cell service. so I think that's why we get it for one year free of charge.
they gave us a new router or modem, I don't know.
my dad uses the desktop computer, and he says it's faster, but my PS3's and laptop's internet is slower now

I use AT&T internet, and I have zero problem with it. Maybe it's your laptop and PS3's problem, not the internet.

Maybe You are trying to watch during Peak hours (12pm- 8pm) everything past 9 is fast. When AT&T shows fast internet they are using a Different Plan which is 20-50Mbps (Really fast) but you are only getting slower speeds , They explain everything in there ads but don't tell people. speedtest.net tells you how fast you're internet is. If It continues call them, If that doesn't work tell them Im switching, If you're with a robot press 0 Rapidly until a human comes!
