I have been seeing a lot of advertisements on youtube for the emergency gaza appeal (because of the attacks and all a week ago). I'm assuming google knows I've been reading it up a lot and so it's targeted this advert to me.
Though my question is, do charities like Islamic relief pay to advertise like this? If so, is it like reduced for them or what?

They could be paying themselves but I think it's possible for NPO's to get free advertising from Google.
