Yes, it is a great place to blog, etc. I've been a member for 6 years now. Unlike many sites that claimed they would pay for content, the site does pay for views of our blog post, photos, video links, etc - and there is a marketplace to buy and sell in too.
Over the years I have built up tens of thousands of fans there, which has helped sales of my poetry books too.

I've been a members since 2011 and I can say FanBox is safe place They make sure you can only have one account and their cashing out process ensures only the real members can get the earnings they have made.

FanBox has many safeguards in the system that protects it's members in their personal accounts. They have had my credit card number for three years, and I have never had any issues as a result.

BE CAREFUL w FANBOX! UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES!!!
I am now going through a dispute w fanbox and Paypal. My biggest mistake was I hooked it up to my Paypal account last feb2014 cz I saw that my fanbox account had USD500+++ in earnings.
Initially as soon as I hooked up my Paypal to fanbox, they charged me (USD-0.01) and promised to pay it back (USD0.01) right after which they did.
After a month, I was so surprised to receive an email from Paypal saying that I sent USD9.75 to fanbox which I never authorized nor was aware of.
GUYS PLEASE BE CAREFUL. As good as it seems, this site is too good to be true and you may be scammed big time.
