Can I advertise a company's website and store voluntarily? - Ferin - 04-08-2014 06:22 PM

I was just wondering if I could say where I got certain products from on youtube videos of mine. Basically can I say "Oh I got this thing here from this company and it is great I would recommend you get one from there too!" on a youtube video legally without a contract or affiliation with them? I live in the U.S.A

Be very careful doing this because the company may not allow it. Suggestion - go to the company's site and look for "terms of use" or "media" or "user services". There may be no harm in it, but know what you're getting into before you do it. Youtube will tell the name of the video owner, their IP address and anything else if they are ever questioned, so do your homework first.
